In the wake of the Pearl Harbor attack, Private Fred Larkin, son of General Larkin, dons the identity of Lightning to fight back against Japanese forces infiltrating Hawaii. As he tracks enemy soldiers from a hidden hillside bunker to a secret underground arsenal, he uncovers a network of tunnels and sabotage plans beneath the base.
