Jungel Kid #1
In "Diamanterne i Kawadji," Jungel Kid and his loyal gorilla Gullebrann venture deep into Africa’s wilds, tracking diamond thieves headed for the mysterious mountain of Kawadji. When both the criminals and the duo fall into the hands of white pygmies living within a volcano, their survival depends on outwitting a hidden tribe in the heart of the earth. Written by Raoul Cauvin and Velle Espeland, with art and inks by Mazel, this 1981 issue delivers a thrilling jungle adventure with a twist that’s as unexpected as it is perilous. The cover, also by Mazel, captures the tension of the moment with striking detail.
