“The Lightning Saga, Final Chapter: The Villain Is the Hero in His Own Story”

In "The Lightning Saga, Final Chapter: The Villain Is the Hero in His Own Story," the seven Legion of Super-Heroes members split up to raise lightning rods across key locations, pushing the JLA and JSA to the edge as one of them makes a desperate sacrifice to bring a fallen hero back to life. With lightning striking Karate Kid, Wally West and his family are miraculously restored to Earth—just as most of the Legionnaires prepare to return home, now accompanied by a surprising new traveler. Written by Brad Meltzer and illustrated by Ed Benes, with inks by Sandra Hope, colors by Alex Sinclair, and letters by Rob Leigh, the issue’s striking cover by Michael Turner captures the moment’s intensity.
