John Porter, who is filming a documentary on the JLA, manages to get under the skin of the team members with his inflammatory questions. Ray gets so upset that he leaves the team. Porter is then revealed as Prometheus, who traps the JLA and civilians in the Sanctuary, then systematically incapacitates the heroes one at a time.
