The Queen of Fables, posing as The Might Behind the Mirror who has been granting people's wishes, shows Frost a vision of the future where she has lost control of her powers and causes the frozen death of everyone on Earth. To avoid this future Frost accepts a wish from the Queen of Fables, who cures her and removes her powers, but this unwittingly gives the Queen the power to escape her prison in the mirror dimension.
