A retired Kimiyo Hoshi returns home to find her house has been invaded by the Shadow Cabinet. As she tries to find her sons, she is stopped by Hardware -- after she sends out a JLA distress signal. Meanwhile, Black Canary discovers the inter-spacial meeting room, and reminds Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman to stop undermining her authority as team leader. As Hardware and Iota break into the League's headquarters to get the remains of the first Dr. Light, they are stopped by the rest of the League. Iota then brings the rest of the Shadow Cabinet members to the League's headquarters.
