In "Out of the Ashes..", Bluejay races against time to warn the Justice League of a looming threat, but her message falls on deaf ears. As the surviving members of the JLA regroup at the mountain stronghold of the original League, they face a sudden and brutal assault from Despero—forcing them to confront not just an enemy, but the very purpose of their existence.

In "By My Black Hand, the Dead Shall Rise! Part One," Paco Ramone confronts memories of his past life as he grapples with his new existence as a Black Lantern. As the surviving members of the Justice League rally at the Hall of Justice, they face a chilling wave of the resurrected—Zatara, Vibe, and Steel—all now twisted by the Black Lantern Corps. With Kimiyo sensing that the first Dr. Light has also risen, she steps forward alone, determined to confront the darkness before it spreads.

In "Team History," Donna Troy answers Wonder Woman’s call to rebuild the Justice League, assembling Starfire, Cyborg, Batman, and Dr. Light to form a new core. As the team takes shape, Dr. Light and Batman each seek out additional allies—Guardian and Mon-El for one, Green Lantern and Green Arrow for the other—testing the bonds that might hold this new league together.

In "Team History," the new Justice League faces a series of escalating threats as Dr. Impossible and Hunter assault STAR Labs, while the mystery of the alien artifact linked to Darwin Jones deepens—leading the team to Blackhawk Island. As Congorilla and Starman confront Tender Mercy and Chair, Neon Black, Hunter, and Dr. Impossible infiltrate the abandoned JLA satellite, testing the League’s unity and resolve.

In "All Along the Watchtower," Green Arrow battles Hunter, Dr. Impossible, and Neon Black inside the Watchtower, while the rest of the Justice League confronts Tender Mercy and Chair on Blackhawk Island—where they encounter Congorilla and Starman. With Red Tornado’s help, Green Arrow holds the line as the League begins to fracture, leaving Batman, Donna Troy, Congorilla, and Starman to face new threats tied to Prometheus. Together, the remaining heroes gather scattered machine parts and activate them, opening a portal into the vast, uncharted realms of the Multiverse.
