The JSAers find Johnny Quick waiting for them in their meeting room. As Johnny catches them up on his life, Dr. Mid-Nite shows up with a mystery involving Ultragen. Meanwhile, Johnny Thunder arrives at Dr. McNider's office just as it is being invaded. Back in Gotham, the JSAers realize that all their recent adventures lead to Ultragen, so three head out to investigate and find an old enemy.
