This issue is an anthology featuring multiple crime stories adapted from true police and FBI cases. The main story "Wired for Sound" depicts an FBI investigation into a church extortion scheme in Los Angeles where a wealthy businesswoman receives threatening notes demanding money, leading agents to set a trap using a wired name plaque that ultimately catches the female extortionist.
