In Kalimán #306 (1981), the hero and Solín face renewed danger in the jungle, where Kalimán must negotiate peace with a centaur chief—only for the truce to be shattered by betrayal. As they press on, they stumble upon a sacred ritual honoring Zeus, leading to their capture by the tyrannical ruler Galo, who forces them into a deadly trial by combat against the gladiator Calígula. Meanwhile, unseen by all, Poseidón watches closely, recognizing in Kalimán the one he’s long sought. Written by Victor Fox and illustrated by Crisvel, this issue blends mythic tension with high-stakes peril, all captured in a striking cover by Crisvel.
