"Captain Glory" depicts a naval adventure in which the heroic captain is chained to a line by a heartless crew, cast into the sea, but manages to raise himself to the surface and is rescued by his crew. "Joe Ticket: The Picket" shows Joe Ticket carrying picket signs to protest unfair labor practices at various stores, including a drug store and chain store.
Red Rocket dreams of stardom in Hollywood and snags a lucrative contract, so he and his co-pilot Stardust Smith blast off to meet the glamorous Heide Lemore—only to have his rival Wolf Williams kidnap her to the moon. When Red chases after them to the lunar valley, he discovers the moon's cheese makers have their own bewildering plans for the captive actress, and things spiral into delightful chaos across two worlds. It's a wacky space-age romp where Hollywood ambition collides with extraterrestrial mischief in true 1945 comic fashion.
