Kerry Drake #5

Detective Kerry Drake investigates the kidnapping of a young girl whose mother is held captive by criminals who have forced her to help them steal a valuable bass violin. Drake pursues the suspects through an apartment building, across a frozen lake where they attempt to escape, and ultimately to a train station, where Bottleneck—the criminal ringleader—boards a train with the girl. Kerry Drake corners Bottleneck at the train station, discovering the villain has hidden the child and determining he must apprehend him to locate her before it's too late.
