Kid Montana answers an urgent call from Major Benteen at Fort Yuma, only to discover that the Major's daughter Judy, returning from schooling back east, has vanished along with the stage that was meant to escort her—and El Lobo, a vengeful bandit the Major once imprisoned, has broken jail and is heading toward the territory. Racing across the desert to track down the missing stage and the girl, Montana finds himself walking straight into El Lobo's trap, where a sinister plan for revenge begins to unfold.

Kid Montana is hired by big game hunter Jason Craig to guide an expedition into the Rocky Mountains—ostensibly to help track down the legendary Abominable Snowman, a creature Craig has pursued for eight years. As the hunt begins, danger closes in from unexpected quarters: a territorial mountain lion, fever-stricken injuries, and rivals who've caught wind of the golden prize hidden somewhere in the snowy peaks.
