Volume 3 of the Kill la Kill manga adaptation brings together two of the series' most recognizable figures on a vivid, energetic cover — a fierce dark-haired girl in a cropped jacket and red ribbon strikes a bold, confident pose in the foreground, while a cheerful blonde in a sailor uniform leans in playfully from behind. Manga artist Ryō Akizuki, working from the scenario by TRIGGER/Kazuki Nakashima under Nakashima's supervision, captures the dynamic personality clash between the two characters with punchy colors and sparkling details that feel right at home in this 2015 Dargaud/Kana release. If the first two volumes had you hooked, this one looks set to keep the momentum going.
