“Journeys End in Lovers Meeting”

In "Journeys End in Lovers Meeting," Hamlet grapples with his growing power as the Shadow King while Juliet climbs to his balcony in a quiet, defiant act of love. As Iago spreads chaos and Richard tries to turn the Black Guard from Lady Macbeth’s side, Hamlet, Falstaff, and Iago set out to find Shakespeare—only to be stopped by Orsino and Romeo. Written by Conor McCreery and Anthony Del Col, with art by Andy Belanger and coloring by Ian Herring, this issue blends political intrigue and emotional stakes in a world where literary legends are real. The cover by Kagan McLeod captures the tension with striking, expressive detail.

Even as Iago sows doubt in Othello, Hamlet begins to accept his role as the Shadow King. Juliet climbs to Hamlet's balcony, where the two pledge their love. Richard woos the Black Guard from their loyalty to Lady Macbeth, even as his own troops march on the prodigals. Hamlet, Falstaff, and Iago go in quest of Shakespeare, but are blocked by Orsino and Romeo.
