John leads the others to the underground bunker where he lived with his mother and surrogate grandfather. The man tells Killraven and his team the history of the Martian conflict over the last decades. When the enemy forces track them again, Gramps leads them to an escape pod and sends them to safety, staying behind to destroy the bunker in a massive explosion.
