Killraven tries to convince M'Shulla to pretend to be defeated as they battle each other in the Keeper's arena. Later, Grok reveals that he has used his telepathic powers against Killraven and the others, including goading Hawk into the violent rage that led to his death. Killraven, M'Shulla, and Volcana break free from Grok's control and escape.
