The Kinema Comic #242 is an anthology issue featuring four separate comedy comic strips. "Larry of Vitagraph" in "Gave Him a Pasting!" depicts Larry getting a job papering a wall but creating chaos when he uses paste to trip up a rival. "Sterling Ford" in "On a Bit of String!" shows old Ford attempting to catch a man with billards using a ball of string, ultimately obtaining a reward. "The Amazing Adventures of Babyface Snoops" in "Then Sam Felt Board!" features Sam at school getting in trouble when he glues a tube to his cap, causing the schoolmaster's blackboard to stick to his head. "The Priceless Pranks of Polly Mordan" in "A Nice Film!" follows Polly's arctic adventure with Esquimaux gentlemen, where she crosses a frozen pond and encounters various mishaps while escaping through an ice sluice-gate.
