Thrilling Comics #12 is an anthology featuring a complete Doc Strange action adventure in which spies and intruders attempt to steal military papers, leading to a confrontation where Doc Strange and union soldiers defend against machine-gun fire before capturing the thieves and bringing them before Abraham Lincoln, who appeals to their patriotism to recover the stolen materials. The issue also includes "The Lone Eagle" story, in which a new bomber-fighter nearing completion at a speedair plant becomes the target of a conspiracy involving a Russian millionaire named Sylvanus Kroch, who plots to use the aircraft for an invasion of Alaska and Canada with his army of adventurers.
