An anthology issue featuring "Deed-a-Day Danny," in which Danny acquires a lamb coat intended for a fur man but decides to keep it for himself, leading to a series of misadventures involving the garment's theft and recovery. The issue also contains a story about Billy Bunter being pursued by a fat gentleman and eventually caught, followed by a dramatic adventure involving characters Jack, Ralph, and Petersen who encounter war canoes and savage islanders on a South Sea island and must hide to avoid being discovered. Additionally, there is a "Sexton Blake" adventure in which Blake and his associates plan to destroy a bridge to stop the villain Jehan's forces, ultimately using a "Rolling Sphere" device to destroy it from below.
