Knockout Comic #378 is an anthology issue featuring multiple stories. "Deed-a-Day Danny" follows Danny as he helps Tony face an ice cream emergency when the ice cream parlor's ice has melted. "Billy" depicts a young boy's misadventures at a Chinese restaurant where he and a Chinese customer named Yu-Hoo engage in a series of comedic mishaps involving food and language barriers. The issue also contains a pirate adventure story in which characters Ralph and Jack encounter a mysterious woman on an island, suspecting her to be a pirate, before witnessing a ship approaching in the distance. Additionally, a "Sexton Blake" adventure features the detective investigating a stolen aircraft and atomic eggs, discovering that Hoo Sung is leaving Blake's house and tracking mysterious activity involving potential criminals.
