This anthology issue contains multiple stories: "Deed-a-Day Danny" follows a boy helping a puppy bury a bone, which leads to a comedic mix-up involving Christmas decorations and bullseyes hidden under a pillow. "D'Artagnan and Athos" is a swashbuckling adventure where the musketeers encounter an old friend, Porthos, and engage in intrigue involving diamonds and a state ball at the Cardinal's palace in Paris. "Tinker Unscrews the Plug," a science fiction tale, depicts a character aboard an underwater Sphere who must locate and clear a screw plug to prevent the vessel from sinking as Black Eagle's fighters attack from above.
