An anthology issue containing two main stories: "Deed-a-Day Danny," in which a character completes good deeds and encounters various mishaps including a close call with a road hog and trouble with white paint lines; and a serial adventure featuring brothers Amyas and Frank, who become involved in a rescue operation against Spanish forces and negroes on a beach, with Frank being captured while Amyas fights to save him. Additionally, "Sexton Blake" appears in a story where Blake confronts criminal Jasper Mawle over stolen rings, resulting in a warehouse rooftop pursuit and Blake's pursuit of the sailor One-Eye Pete, who escapes into the Thames with a valuable ring.
