"Billy Bunter Takes the Blame" depicts the titular character taking responsibility when a greedy cook's dinner goes missing, resulting in various misadventures and eventual reconciliation. "Robin of Locksley" chronicles Robin Hood and his men ambushing the Sheriff of Nottingham's tax collector and swearing to despoil the rich to feed the hungry and fight Norman oppressors, while "Sexton Blake: In the Case of the Tropical Treasure" shows Sexton Blake and Tinker searching for Mr. Frost and a tropical treasure in Africa, discovering a hut and encountering hostile natives and a mysterious woman.
