Knockout #472 is an anthology featuring three stories: "Daffy the Deputy Sheriff," in which the hapless lawman attempts to deliver the mail and encounters an outlaw; "Sexton Blake in the Case of the Clothing Robberies," where detective Sexton Blake and his companion Larry Oakman investigate a series of thefts targeting a man whose life they had previously saved, discovering a trap set by criminals determined to capture them; and "Tough and Happy: Tod and Annie," following two orphans navigating life in London's Chinatown, where they become entangled in a dangerous situation involving a Chinese laundry and criminal elements. The issue also features "Saki the Leopard Boy," a tale of jungle adventure in which the young protagonist must use his wits and knowledge of the African wilderness to protect the native people from warring tribes and their deadly war-drums.
