Knockout #474 is an anthology featuring three stories. "Daffy the Deputy Sheriff" follows the bumbling deputy as he sets mantraps in Bandit Forest to catch criminals, only to have his own schemes backfire comically. "Tough Tod and Happy Annie: The Runaway Orphans" chronicles Tod and Annie's escape from Ald Stiggins' orphanage and their subsequent adventures, including stowing away on a train and eventually heading to Manchester. "Saki the Leopard Boy" tells of a boy raised among the Little People in the jungle who befriends the creatures and protects them from hunters and natural dangers, ultimately saving them from a giant elephant and other forest perils.
