An anthology issue featuring two stories: "Daffy the Deputy Sheriff," a humorous tale in which a small character attempts to extract a tooth from a dentist's chair before being chased and eventually befriended; and "Tough and Happy Tod and Annie: The Runaway Orphans," a serial adventure following two orphans who escape from Stiggins and encounter the famous Belle Vue Speedway racing team, including real racing drivers, before watching an exciting speedway race. The issue also contains "Saki the Leopard Boy," a longer adventure narrative set in Africa involving a boy named Saki, his elephant companion Bwano, a herd of elephants, and conflicts with various antagonists in the jungle.
