This anthology issue contains two main stories: "Daffy the Deputy Sheriff," a humorous short in which the bumbling Daffy attempts to capture the notorious bank robber Benny but repeatedly fails and is outwitted at every turn, ultimately allowing Benny to escape. "Tough and Happy Tod and Annie: The Runaway Orphans" follows Tod and his sister Annie as they flee from the "new chum," Private Jones, encountering a bullying gamekeeper in the woods who threatens them before they manage to elude him. The issue also features "School of the Clouds," a longer adventure tale in which Ginger and Bob's aircraft encounters a group of enemy spies attempting to bomb a school from the air, leading to an intense aerial battle and rescue operation. These stories showcase the blend of slapstick comedy, adventure, and juvenile heroics typical of Knockout Comic's content.
