In "The H Bomb," Bob and Sandra return to Konga’s island, where a brief dose of shrinking serum once again shrinks the giant ape—just as a storm strands them on a remote island. There, they discover the island is set to be the site of a U.S. H-Bomb test, and as Konga regains his full size, he must help them signal for help. With the island on the brink of destruction, their fate hangs in the balance.

While mankind reaches toward the stars, Earth's remote jungles still harbor creatures as exotic as any imagined on distant planets—and this story explores the most unusual of them all: the marsupials and other bizarre animals that have survived from ancient times.
