The opening volume of Léo la terreur introduces us to a pint-sized troublemaker with a big attitude — on the cover, a fierce little red-haired kid strides forward confidently while casting an enormous, horned monster shadow on the purple wall behind them, a mischievous cat peers in from the corner, and a group of wide-eyed children peek nervously from the top right. Benou and Nancy Delvaux bring a wonderfully expressive, cartoon energy to this 2023 series from Editions Paquet, with the subtitle De l'électricité dans l'air ("There's Electricity in the Air") perfectly capturing the charged chaos little Léo seems to spark wherever they go.
