“El Cohete Celeste”

In "El Cohete Celeste," scientist Steve Harley—secretly the crime-fighter La Araña Verde—launches his revolutionary spaceship, only to be betrayed by a spy named Diana planted by the foreign agent Gaylor. Left unconscious and sent into space instead of a test dummy, Steve survives the launch, setting his invention on course despite the sabotage. Written by Roberto Reynoso and illustrated by Enrique Cuadra Abrego, this 1956 adventure blends sci-fi suspense with the hero’s daring resilience, all rendered in striking detail on a cover by Cuadra Abrego.
