Lady Death comes out of her sickly stupor to find that her sister has gathered old friends and foes to fight together against Abaddon. She is angry about the situation but, even in her weakened state, leads her band of unlikely allies against her enemies. Lady Death once again takes up the Eternal Scythe and separates Abaddon from Pagan, destroying the former and driving off the latter. Vandala creates a new Shining Realm to replace the fallen Asgard and ends the Dark Millennium for good. Even though victorious, Lady Death collapses.
