Cheryl has transformed into Lady Demon and this is the only thing that keeps her alive when the mob comes gunning for her. Once she escapes, she reasserts control of her body and tries to find out why people on both sides of the law are trying to kill her. Once she finds her targets, she decides to use the powers of Lady Demon to take them down.
