Lash La Rue Western #74

The issue features two stories: "Renegade Attack," in which Comanches attack settlers and outnumber them until Lash LaRue intervenes with his guns, whip, and courage to prevent the destruction of a wagon train; and "The Pursuit of Generous John," in which John Cardine is known for his generosity, but Lash knows him for something more sinister. In the latter story, Cardine has scattered his men, and Lash pursues him; Lash finds Rush waiting at the ranch house and heads for it, ultimately confronting Cardine and learning that the outlaw paid Lash to tell a story about not seeing him for weeks. The issue also includes a Charlton Comics Giant Contest offering prizes including a "Buster Crabbe" swimming pool, Schwinn bikes, and a $1000 savings bond.
