A week later, the nephew has stopped sucking his thumb—but now he’s obsessed with milk and crackers, much to Molasses Mouth’s bewilderment.

Dusty tricks his partner into fetching water by pretending to be on the verge of passing out, only to reveal he was just thirsty—leading to a series of escalating, comically futile attempts to prove strength, culminating in a self-defeating showdown where the "victory" leaves him too exhausted to carry out his revenge.

Molasses Mouth is convinced his feet are blue after a strange dream, prompting a frantic visit to the doctor—only to learn the truth is far more mundane. His friend Wagonwheels offers a hilariously misguided suggestion for solving a different kind of dilemma, leading to a moment of comic panic.

Lamebrain finds himself in a peculiar situation after a day in the mine, where hunger drives him to pull out his lunch box—only to discover it's filled with rabbits. When he claims the animals are noisy and easy to shoot, his claim is met with disbelief, especially when he insists they make a "meow" sound.
