# Lash Larue Western #54 This issue contains two stories. In the main story, Lash investigates a bank robbery at Tuxton Valley Bank where twenty thousand dollars in stock certificates were stolen. A man in a white mask committed the crime, and Lash must determine whether his suspect Farrell, who is stuck with the same oil stock that was used as a cover for the theft, is guilty or innocent. In a backup story, a dentist and a con man engage in a comedic battle of wits involving a painful tooth extraction and the theft of a diploma, culminating in a chase through the desert where Lash and his companion Clem pursue the criminals across various locations including a hotel, casino, and gambling establishment.
