Le monde d'Aïcha — Luttes et espoirs des femmes au Yémen is a thoughtful graphic work by Ugo Bertotti that turns its gaze toward the lives, struggles, and hopes of women in Yemen. The cover itself is striking in its restrained palette of grey and blue: a dramatically cropped eye peers out from beneath a veil, commanding attention, while above it a silhouetted scene shows figures alongside what appears to be a camera or telescope against a Yemeni cityscape of minarets and rooftops.
