Legends of the Dark Knight #14
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart four of five in the "Prey" arc, this January 1991 entry in Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight presents a deeply unsettling image: Batman slumped and battered against a crumbling brick wall, surrounded by scattered coins, with gun barrels looming ominously from the foreground — the Dark Knight looking every bit the hunted rather than the hunter. Paul Gulacy's pencils and Terry Austin's inks give the scene a raw, grounded intensity that fits the subtitle "The Nightmare" perfectly. With Doug Moench writing and Steve Oliff's moody colors setting the tone, this is a compelling chapter in one of the darker Batman stories DC published in 1991.
