Lego Ninjago: Garmadon #3

Issue three of this charming 2022 Image Comics series puts the spotlight squarely on Garmadon himself — depicted here in his dark armor and wielding an oversized blade, white hair flaring with menace — as he faces off against a determined young girl armed with nothing more than a pot and a spatula. Looming behind them both is a massive, ominous red-and-black armored figure that casts a long shadow over the confrontation. Writer and artist Tri Vuong brings a wonderful mix of humor and genuine tension to this LEGO Ninjago story, with colorist Annalisa Leoni giving the cover its vivid, eye-catching palette.
