Published by Dupuis in 2019, this second volume of Libon's delightfully chaotic series promises cheerful catastrophe right from the cover — three cartoon animal characters flee in wide-eyed panic beneath a flipped red car, while fires rage across a suburban backdrop. The title, n'ont pas fait exprès ("didn't do it on purpose"), sets the perfect tone of gleeful, guilt-free mayhem. If you enjoy comedy that revels in spectacular disaster with a light touch, this one is hard to resist.
