Life with Archie #60

“Double Agent”

In "Double Agent," the Archies take a break from their usual musical mischief to save Riverdale High from a fiery fate — only for Archie’s near-hanging on a fire hose to trigger a wild flashback to the caveman era, where the legendary Cave Archies make a surprisingly modern cameo. Written by Frank Doyle and illustrated by Bob White, with inks by Jon D'Agostino, this 1967 classic blends slapstick chaos with prehistoric flair, all wrapped in a cover by Bob White and Jon D'Agostino.

Meet those madcap musical mirthmakers, The Archies, a three-man band of boys who bring song and silliness wherever they go. After playing a gig at Pop Tate's discotheque, they try to save Riverdale High School from being set ablaze, but when Archie almost gets hanged on a fire hose, he has a flashback to the caveman era -- and the cave Archies come out of his flashback and into the present day.
