Lightning Comics #2

Lightning rushes to destroy an attacking Nazi Fleet as the lead story. A secondary story follows the villain the Raven as he challenges the Green Hood gang; the Raven infiltrates a warehouse to steal furs and silks, then uses illusions created by his associate Marvo to evade pursuers and escape with stolen goods to the McAdam Hotel. Detective Hap follows the two thugs to the hotel's third floor, where they plan to complete an insurance fraud scheme involving gasoline and the hotel itself.
