# Lightning Comics #5 (February 1942) This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "The Raven" features a masked vigilante fighting a criminal named Kelly and his thugs in a boxing-ring showdown, with the Raven using lightning-fast footwork and well-timed blows to defeat his half-senseless opponent. "Marvo the Magician" follows a magician who uncovers a plot by city thugs demanding he sell his farm; when the criminals threaten Farmer Jones and his wife with supernatural terror—ghost manifestations and gunfire—Marvo must use his wits and abilities to protect them, ultimately trapping the thugs and forcing their escape in a yellow sedan that plunges off a cliff into the river below.
