In pursuit of the abducted scientists, Gadgetman fends off a trio of thugs granted superpowers by the Trickster. Gadgetman is then attacked by Braino, the overseer of the Brain-Men. Meanwhile, Gimmick-Kid battles one of the Brain-Men before the Brain-Man grabs the hero and begins to turn him into a reptile-boy.
