Lion #31 is an anthology issue featuring three main stories. "Outlaw of Space" depicts a futuristic battle between mechanical monsters on Titan, where Captain Condor must rescue prisoners from a dictator's forces using a geek-piloted machine. A second story follows two British brothers, Cardoc and Granus, as they escape Roman pursuers and attempt to infiltrate the walls of Rome to rescue their comrade from Gelda's clutches. "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser," written by Tom Stirling, chronicles a schoolboy who uses an invisibility gadget to expose a bully and thief named Mike, ultimately clearing his own name of false accusations. The issue also includes a "World-Wide Quiz" feature with questions on geography, nature, and trivia.
