Lion #62 is an anthology featuring five picture stories. "Captain Condor: Space-Man of the Unknown Moon" by Frank S. Pepper follows space pilot Captain Condor and his companion Pete, who crash-land on an uncharted moon and must prevent a Zorian rebellion from destroying their stranded kingzor. "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser" by Tom Stirling tells of two boys who discover a magical invisible stone that allows them to help a farmer fix his broken-down truck. The issue also includes a continuation of a story involving Dirk and Hal pursuing a dangerous beast into a tower to uncover the identity of mysterious traitors, as well as a "World-Wide Quiz" featuring trivia questions on geography, culture, and miscellaneous facts.

The Case of the Fake Paratrooper

Detective Brett Marlowe and his chauffeur Rusty Race arrive by helicopter at Dunblair Castle in Scotland, where they suspect trouble is brewing between two old partners. Inside the castle, the criminal Scarface Jacques confronts his former associate Spike, demanding his share of stolen loot—but Spike breaks away and bolts up the stairs, forcing Marlowe to uncover what's really behind this dangerous reunion.
