Detective Brett Marlowe and his chauffeur Rusty Race arrive at Craggy Castle to visit their old friend Colonel Wallis, only to discover that a valuable jewelled elephant curio has been stolen during a mysterious distraction. As Brett investigates the crime, he begins to suspect the Colonel's son John may be involved in the scheme. The detective must unravel the mystery before the thief strikes again.
