This issue of Lion is an anthology containing three stories: "Captain Condor: Space-Man Avenger," in which the outlaw space pilot Captain Condor helps free prisoners from a dictator's battle-cruiser and plans to seek refuge in the Red Mists of Jupiter; "Stormy Tale: Skipper of the Wheezy Anna," by R.G. Thomas, wherein Stormy rescues a mysterious man from a floating tree and learns of a jungle expedition seeking silver ore, leading to dangerous encounters with criminal elements and native hunters in Borneo; and "Rory," a story of a boy who must stop runaway horses and later becomes involved in a confrontation with masked men and the rescue of a man named Mick. The issue also includes a "World-Wide Quiz" feature with illustrated questions about landmarks and history.
