Little Eva and her friends have several misadventures: first, they engage in a tire race where one child's tire is deemed too heavy for competition, then the group goes searching for the missing "Nipper" character after finding a wanted poster, only to discover he smuggled a stolen item from the post office. In another story titled "Flying High," Eva holds balloons for a boy named Joe while he ties his shoe, but the balloons float away and carry Eva skyward as Joe calls for her to come back.

Nipper and his friends plan a boys-only picnic, but Little Eva insists on joining—only to be stymied by a sudden downpour they claim ruins the outing. All Tired Out
5 pp · Humor, Children

Nipper finds a big tire at his garage and convinces his friends to race it, but when they grow tired of the game, he’s left with the tire and his new ball—only to discover he left the ball at home. After a series of trades and frantic searches, he realizes the tire he’s been chasing might not be lost after all, and its sudden reappearance is more than a little strange.

Beautiful Baby
9 pp · Humor, Children

In a playful prank gone hilariously awry, Nipper and his friends trick the girls by replacing their mirror with a poster of a wanted criminal, only to be outsmarted when the girls turn the tables by disguising Nipper as a baby to fool a suspicious detective. As the misunderstanding escalates, the boys’ prank backfires in the most absurd way when Nipper’s baby disguise ends up winning a “Beautiful Baby” contest in the local paper.

Flying High
1 pp · Humor, Children

A young girl named Little Eva sets off on a playful adventure with three balloons, only to have her dog, Nipper, accidentally take off when the strings get tangled. As she tries to catch up, the balloons carry her dog higher into the sky, leaving her scrambling to keep up.

The Magic Seeds
3 pp · Humor, Children

Little Eva is convinced that her watermelon seeds are magic after Nipper tells her they’ll grow overnight, leading her to eagerly await morning with childlike excitement. When a truck delivering watermelons passes by her house at night, she wakes to find a giant melon outside—believing it’s the result of her magical seeds, though the truth is far more mundane.

The Gardeners
1 pp · Humor, Children

A young woman and her younger brother take on the task of trimming their mother’s hedge to earn money for a movie, carefully following her instructions to make sure they cut it just right. As they work, their focus on the job leads to a playful, teamwork-driven moment that highlights their sibling bond.
