“Funny Bunny”

In "Funny Bunny," little Humphrey and his sister head to the fair, where Humphrey’s insatiable appetite leads him to devour mountains of snacks. When he casually wins a rigged weight-lifting game thanks to his surprising size, the crowd sees through the scam, chases off the barker and his accomplice, and hands Humphrey every prize—though all he really wants is to go home, still hungry. A 10-cent comic from 1953, this lighthearted tale is illustrated with playful energy, lettered in crisp typeset.

Casey and Little Max agree to water the animals in exchange for circus tickets. Casey says he'll do Max a favor and take the horses as there are more of them -- but the camels, of course, need many more buckets to satisfy them. The ringmaster says Casey must be at work every night, but Max is excused; camels go without water for a week.
